Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the MileDock mobile application published under the public developer name MileDock App. By using MileDock, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the app

MileDock is provided for personal business-use recordkeeping, including mileage tracking, expense tracking, summaries, and report exports. You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and suitability of the records you enter, edit, store, and export.

2. No tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice

MileDock provides tracking and reporting tools only. It does not provide tax, legal, accounting, financial, or professional advice. Reports generated by MileDock should be reviewed by you and, where appropriate, by a qualified professional before being used for tax filing, reimbursement, bookkeeping, compliance, or business decisions.

3. Free and premium features

Some MileDock features may be free, while others may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase through Google Play. Premium features may include exports, advanced insights, custom mileage rate settings, or other functionality shown in the app.

4. Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription, it may renew automatically unless canceled through Google Play. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Google Play account. Subscription access generally continues until the end of the paid billing period unless otherwise stated by Google Play.

5. One-time purchases

If you purchase a lifetime or permanent unlock, that purchase applies to the supported app and account context made available through Google Play, subject to Google Play rules, app availability, technical limitations, and these Terms.

6. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds

Purchases are processed by Google Play. Pricing, billing, renewals, cancellations, purchase management, and refunds are handled according to Google Play policies and the terms shown at purchase. We do not receive your full payment card details.

7. Reports and records

MileDock generates reports based on the information you enter into the app. We do not guarantee that reports are error-free, accepted by any tax authority, sufficient for every tax or business purpose, or compliant with every personal, employer, accountant, or government requirement. You are responsible for reviewing exported files and keeping backup copies of important records.

8. Local data and backups

MileDock is designed to store records primarily on your device at launch. If you delete the app, clear app data, lose your device, or reset your device, your records may be lost unless you exported or backed up them separately. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important records.

9. Advertising

The free version of MileDock may display ads. Ads help support continued development and availability of the app.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse MileDock, attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the app, interfere with billing or entitlement systems, use the app for unlawful purposes, or attempt to access, modify, or damage systems that you are not authorized to access.

11. App availability and changes

We may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of MileDock from time to time. Features may change as the app evolves.

12. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MileDock is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or business losses resulting from your use of, inability to use, or reliance on MileDock, including lost records, lost profits, lost tax deductions, lost revenue, or business interruption.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
